Mary-Ellen has a life-long passion for creative thinking. She grew up with fabric, textiles and the hum of the sewing machine. Her love of art led her to Art School, where she completed a Batchelor of Fine Arts majoring in Photography. After travelling the world, getting married and starting a family, her creativity eventually saw her establish Hello Saturday Design in 2015. Since then, she’s built it up into a successful interior design business with a wide range of clients across Auckland.
With three children of her own, Mary-Ellen understands busy families. She appreciates the desire to have a home you can easily share with friends and family – one that offers practical and functional ideas that not only work but have a real wow factor.
“Hello Saturday, was essential for us in our building process. We knew what we wanted but were time poor and Mary-Ellen took all the pressure off. She understood our vision, spent endless hours talking with the builder and electrician to make sure the build matched the vision and executed perfectly.
